Greetings! Good vid bro. I got a question: many boneshelter builds are using precise technique with flash and flame jewels allocating Blitz for a huge dmg+ attck speed, resulting hundre million DPS. But I'm wondering here, if precise technique never deals critcal strike, and blitz only activated with critical striker, how they do it to work together? Glad if u can answer

One meme build I've been thinking of trying has been a harness the void hydrosphere with fire conversion because it ticks 3 times when harness triggers. (Physical, Cold, Fire) -Abhorrent Interrogation is an item I think might be worth running and then scaling wither to scale both ele & chaos dmg. I think it would be a neat way to play a tricksters at the moment, a CWC set up was maybe worth it as you use wither as your channeling skill to constantly proc hydrosphere with recasts. Let me know what you think

The ele pen is ridiculous. How many builds have you seen with 140+ ele pen before this amulet? Almost none. Nerf that to a more reasonable level and it will be fine. Even +1 pen per 20 Omniscience is hella good.

Melding of the flesh as well should be looked at.

i would like omniscience to lose the pen completely, but instead of turning stats into omniscience you gain ominiscience iqual to your stats, this way it would be a cool amulet for stat stacckers solving attributes and resistances, you potentially lose getting more attributes on you amulet but can compensate by not needidng res in your other gear pieces and it doesnt get added to every single elemental buuild, loved the video format btw

I would like both offense and defense to be divine-able with the top end being close to what it is now, maybe a 1-in-100 shot to get it. Would make corrupting and upgrade paths more interesting, too.

Honestly it's fine exactly the way it is. For now build diversity, simply make +1 to all skill gems a much more common roll on regular amulets.

Its the ultimate form of stat stacking, just too easy. They should mess with the numbers so you get less Omni per stats and make it a t0 drop. Still playable and lands in the “chase item” category.

next video: nerf presence of chayula. no but seriously, some good points - im still against a nerf just because imo poe should be a playgarden of possibilities and this amulet enables builds that ggg keeps failing to fix. if i want my build to not need the amulet because ive used it 10 times already, i just dont use it. as for the video in general, i like videos like this but i prefer your less scripted videos, you are faster and more ..dedicated if that makes any sense. i like to be impressed by your eloquence :)

The amount of penetration is far too high compared to any other source in the game. My only issue with nerfing it is that it makes a lot of non-meta skills viable.

I think Ashes of the Stars is actually even worse than Omniscience for this. 20% mana res efficiency, +1 all skills is absolutely insane, and then you also add 30% qual to every skill equipped? Fits on every build not wearing an Omniscience. With the insane power of auras, giving an extra 20% is just too much.

I think they need to hit the flexibility actually aka the resists it provides. That automatically tones down the damage since now you'll have to balance your attribute stacking with actually getting some resists, and it also breaks the huge synergy it has with certain other uniques.

I personally don't like uniques that are generally BiS. Mageblood is at least very rare, so not everyone uses it. If it was a 1c unique every person who knows about it, would use it. Before in PoE some uniques vere strong , but never generically stronger as rares, however i like that they were uniquely balanced, so not every person uses them. In diablo 3 we have a meta where only uniqie and set items are used. Noone uses rare items anymore.

I'd like to make an observation here about the purpose of rarity in a game like path of exile. I believe no one unique item - as distinct from well crafted rares as a product of significant effort in service of well-meted scalar objectives - should be especially rare at all. It is possible, and indeed GGG have done this in the past, to make uniques that, in a vacuum, are either decent or below average, but absolutely build-defining with the right application of creativity. As things stand, embarking upon unique and underrepresented ideas in PoE is expensive. It needn't be. I can envision a world in which most if not all but the most distant of stretch goal uniques are relatively easy to obtain on a trade league. In such an instance, I believe build diversity would grow by virtue of presenting a reduced Regret cost and reduced flat currency cost for the price of any given build-anchor unique. Omniscience stands out as a very universal item that gets a great plenty of builds online with minimal effort. I don't actually think that this would be a bad thing, PROVIDED that the majority of uniques in the game were both easily obtainable and highly specialized; this would make the splashable nature of omniscence an accessory to build diversity, rather than a collapse thereof. The only problem withstanding that I haven't quite sorted out in my head is the question of objective-oriented play. People want to have something to strive for. People want to get excited about that incredibly valuable drop that justifies the effort the placed in any given play session. If the majority of noteworthy uniques we're likely to see are a dime a dozen I have no idea how that core game element would be retained. Here I'm completely stumped. Help a brother out.

One of the reasons Omniscience is so popular is that there isn't any good alternative for multi-element penetration. Trinity provides a small amount, but past that there are very few good options. This is while before Omniscience top end elemental builds typically focused on a single element (usually cold). It would be nice to provide some alternative penetration options in addition to a nerf to Omniscience.

I like the build variety the amulet seems to be enabling, due to it propping up undertuned and mixed-element skills. Something worth considering how that could be maintained when the item gets nerfed.

My suggestion would be to maybe adjust the amulet to work so that there are 3 variants, each variant picking 2 attributes that get converted to omniscience so that the rare items you build around it would vary depending on the build you're making and the variant you have acquired.

ye maybe they shouldnt make a single item slot fix all your damage , resistances AND attribute requirements , 1 of those has to go for sure so my idea is 1. remove the resistance mod , now its a pure dps item with a small downside 2. give it a meaningful downside that scales off omnisience , not sure what that downside should be but something that you would have to build/play around if u stack omniesence way too much

I'm probably wrong, but as I was planning a omniscience build, it did look like there wasn't much to be gained after hitting 1k omniscience in offensive terms. The feel I got was that it eases gearing in a lot of axis, and make some uniques with high stat requirements more acessible. I worry of any change in functionallity, otherwise we get the archmage treatment, or aurastacker one, as the archetype is only viable in the high end investment. The droptable fix is questionable, as top players would get It still and the meta would look the same, even thow it will be harder for most people to get into it. I would give 1 more league of FUN for everyone before imagine a fix, mostly because I believe the item get itself inbuilt diminishing returns, so it is for the most part fine.

A typical GGG response: "We will nerf its rarity, offensive, and defensive capability so we never have to balance this amulet again." An even more GGG response: "Crystalized Omniscience will be removed from the drop pool until you forget that this amulet ever existed, then reintroduce after power creep has made it redundant."

it seems to me that mageblood and headhunter both fit into the same exact category as omniscience. they can be slotted into any build making that build stronger with no downsides. it seems to me that your problem isn't with its functionality but with its availability to all players.

One thing is for sure are the forbidden jewels were an absolute mistake to have in the game. There's no fucking way GGG does not nerf players sooner than expected or buff monsters due to these items being in the game. For around 6 ex everyone can have like 20% more damage among many other things at the cost of 4 passive points for jewels which on average you were going to have anyways.

Honestly sick of hearing about this item. Jesus people and the bandwagons they can't not be a part of.

I would prefer it if it kept the pen as is while heavily nerfing res. That way it would be in line with other attribute-stacking builds that somehow have to fit res and attributes into suffixes.
